Wiring a new radio

Hey guys ...

I got a question for you ...

In my old car 98 dodge avenger ES ... there was an amp in the trunk in which I cut / spliced the wires to run new wires to my amps ...

My question is ... I don't see an amp on the WRX, so I'm going to assume the amp is built into the headunit ... So how would I go about wiring the stock speakers to my amps?

Also, this is my current setup ... (STOCK) in-dash stock 6 disc changer, stock speakers (keeping for now), and the subby sub ... came with the car ...

I'm taking it all out ... and putting in two 400 watt subs, 2 sony amps 800 watt each ... and a dvd flip out monitor ...

I already have the converter clip ... but I just need to know where I should splice the stock speaker wires ...

thanks for the help

- Steven

Is your dvd monitor a stand alone monitor or is it part of your head unit. If its part of your head unit, it should have the amp outpts built in. You should just have to run the rcas to your amps for your signal. The rcas should provide a cleaner signal than the speaker line converter.
