** Wing Swap **

Hey Fellas (and any ladies out there)!

I'm new to the forum-- and new to STi ownership. Just purchased an '05 Crystal Gray Metallic Sti on Fri. I am soOOoo excited!! This has been my dream car for the last 2 years-- and I've finally got one!! Woohoo!

Since by day I'm supposed to keep up a more "professional" appearance, I decided my wing has got to go. I'm looking to trade my stock STi spoiler for a standard WRX spoiler-- an even trade for anyone willing to travel here* (northern AZ) and help me get it installed

Any takers?

*travel to Prescott isn't required, as long as we can ship what we need to... or maybe we could meet somewhere halfway...?

Check the NASIOC regional forums, I'm sure you could find somebody there.

Thats a really good deal, you might want to look into getting a stock WRX wing plus cash for your STi wing. I am sure there are people willing to buy it from you.

If I remember correctly, it might be easier swapping the whole truck since the mounting holes are different for the wings.

Does color matter? I have two sitting here that I would be willing to ship there in trade, or sell outright if you want. And, I have a friend who works for the best paint shop in the state who would paint it for a small fee.

Yeah... I'm trying to avoid painting if I can.

Well, seeing that the 05's introducted the Crystal Grey Metallic color, it might take you a little more time to find someone with that car color. Unless I'm crazy and totally missed that color when car shopping for my 04
