Window Tint

I am getting my windows tinted on my 04 java black pearl WRX this saturday...
I live in VA and the legal tint % is 50% in the front, and 35% in teh back windows.
The guy that is tinting my windows said that he would do whatever % that I want.
He also said that a lot of people request 35% in the front and 20% in the back.
What do you all recommend I do? Would I get pulled over a lot for 35% in the front and 20% in the back? would it look better darker?

Im not sure which % that I would like to go for, i just want it to look good.
Thanks

Darker always looks better IMO. It's not like they can really prove your percentage either. It depends on how strict the PO PO are round you. Here it ain't bad. Just I'm gonna spend my 200 on something other than window tint.

The police have a little gauge that detects how much light gets through the window. In TX you can have as much tint on the rear windows as you want, but on the front you can only go to 35%. I am planning on getting 25-20% all around. (Hope i dont get caught). IMO tinting looks the best when all the windows are the same % tint.

My friend has gotten many warnings about his window (He has limo tint on fronts and backs) but he just tells the cops that the car came like that and they dont really care to much.

hmm, well I don't know then.
I dont want to go any lower than 35% on the front. Since 50% is the legal limit, anything below 35% would be too risky in my opinion.

Would 35% all the way around look better than 35 front and 20 back?

Like Marka said I think the same tint all around looks the best. 35 should be cool.

If I got some, it'd be 35 all around, cause 1 it looks better when it's equal in the front and back, and 2 if your interior is dark, it will make the tint look darker. And yes, here in VA, I've heard of people getting busted for their tint.

The rules for PA are 70% all around. I have 20% all around and haven't had any problems yet. I have been pulled over for speeding and been through DUI check points. The only thing is it is very hard to see when it is dark and raining with the windows up.

Well yeah, the interior is definitely dark. My dad thinks the windows are tinted already because the interior makes the glass seem darker than what it really is.

So, does everyone think that 35% all the way around is the best way to go?
My options that I'm considering are:
1. 35% all the way around
2. 35% front, 20% back
3. 50% front, 35% back (legal)
4. 20% all the way around

I get them tinted tomorrow (Saturday) so I need to decide ASAP.

Something else I wanted to ask was, when they tint the windows, is it fairly easy to do? Any risk involved? I don't want them screwing up my new car.

That looks nice and dark, eh? Must be hard to see on a rainy night, eh?

Ok, now that my obligitory poking fun at Canadians is done, what's your suspension set up? Is that the V1 front lip?

That looks about like the ride height I'm going for, don't really want to turn my car into a complete snow plow in the winter.
