I've heard good and bad reviews on it, it's just decal.
Some people just mask it off and use plastidip.
I've also heard of people using electrical tape.

I don't have pics atm, but I blacked out the chrome trim on the doors and wrapped the chrome piece on the trunk, and dipped the bottom chrome piece of my grille
