I love the look of the scoop and would not want to get rid of it, but another thought is that while the scoop could cool the engine, its main function of cooling the intercooler is not there, so an Impreza hood can only help by reducing a large amount of drag...

It'd be nice if you could just swap hoods w/ scoops and be done with it...but, I fear the hoods are slightly redesigned around the head lights and front ends. I could be wrong.

The swap would include the entire hood, headlights, front bumper, and both front fenders.
