hey ken (and anyone else that reads this) i don't want to be rude, but i didn't want to post a new thread just for one dumb question, and since this is kind of related, i thought i would post here. basically, about day 2 of driving my wrx, a truck kicked up a rock and jacked up one of my fog lights. kens post answered half of my question already, so heres the other half: is it possible to just get a replacement fog light lens (the clear part) because the rock went through that and shattered the bulb, now my rex looks all gimpy driving with one fog light, so now i don't use them. any solutions, thanks, and also, i think it would be cool of someone found a place that sells these type of things, not just fog light lenses, but headlights, tail lights, and all the other lights previously mentioned. just a suggestion, sorry for jacking the thread.

I have had the same problem. Thats why I just want to get the STI covers soon and im just going to take mine out and sell them on ebay. Which, just answered your question: look on ebay
I also have the same type of problem. My passenger lens is cracked, but still works as of yet. I have looked and it's really expensive to purchase a single assembly as well as just buying both.. Personally I am holding off on doing anything as I am putting on a Perrin FMIC which says it requires the removal of the foglights, but I plan to look into making relocation brackets to move mine forward and keep them.. If it works I will need to get a new one, if it doesn't I'm going to sell the good one..
Hella 500's,Kartboy brackets and Rockblocker(or Laminx) stone sheilds.Thats my recipie for a winning combo.Toss in some Phillips Vison Plus bulbs or GE Nighthawks FTW. http://www.rallylights.com/hella/500.asp You can get everything at once from this link to install the Hella 500's with clear acrylic stone sheilds. http://www.lamin-x.com/ Got them on my Morretes as well.
hey dumdum, or anyone else that might know. are the Phillips Vision Plus or the GE Nighthawks (what is FTW?) better than Sylvannia Silverstars? and are the Hellas that you have bright and white looking? i want the really nice white look, not the dullish kinda yellowish look if you know what i mean.
and Hella kit you bought, is it only $68 for the whole thing? other than the bracket? nothing else needed?
thanks

Sylvannia Silverstarts suck, now Osram(Sylvannia's parrent company) Silverstars are very good.Phillips Vision Plus are a +50(50% more lumens) bulb and the GE Nighthawks are a +30 i think. The Hellas i have are the amber fog lenses. They sell them in clear as well.DONOT get the driving lens and put them in the foglight locations.People do this all the time and it blinds the on comming drivers as well as being a totally incorrect placement for driving lights. The $68 is for the lights,bulbs,relays/switches and the stone gaurds that i have in my avatar. The brackets and the clear acrylic gaurds are sold seperate.FTW=for the win
hey thanks dumdum, that helped a lot because i was thinking about getting the driving lights, not knowing that they did that of course. ftw, got ya. and what is the acrylic guards? are they necessary?
thanks again,
w0r2x, or you guys can call me Koo, funny name eh?
The acrylic gaurds are there to protect the lights from rocks but allow you to use the lights with out having to stop and remove the covers.I have the Lamin-x stone sheilds but just haven't put them on the fogs and just use the Hella factory sheilds untill i get off my lazy but and put on the lamin-x.Plus the Hella ones look kinda cool. Here is a good site with a bunch of info on auto bulbs/lighting www.danielsternlighting.com
