what's your input on STI wing on a bugeye?
my car is drop .. I already got the fog light covers
ll be getting the v1 STI lip .. is it a good idea? what do you guys think?
or go wing-less
As long as you don't have the stock headlights and unpainted side skirts. It makes the car look cheap with stock lights. JDMs, UK300, Prodrives, Morettes, Oricari, etc all look ok with the wing.
I lied. These are sold as "Chargespeed Style" replicas, however snooping further it looks to be a replica of the Syms (real ones were ridiculously hard to find even a decade ago) lip.
Anyone who does this is dissing the whole Subaru community. You might as well put five 10kg bags of rice on your trunk. Shopping cart fetishes should be kept at the supermarket...
If you're gonna' lip it,wing it. A lip without a wing looks half a$$ed,unbalanced, like you ran out of money or something. I say, if you're going with ground effects,go all the way.
Although the same cannot be said for a wing without a lip. I think a wing on a bugeye looks great! I was thinking about doing the same thing eventually.
A lip here in Iowa won't survive in the winters we get around here. Not to mention steep driveways. As for the wobbling, Perrin makes a pillar to stiffen things up.http://perrinperformance.com/images/F74510296.jpg
