What is this piece called and where do you get them?

I really like the aggressive accent back on the rear bumper, but I have no idea what it's called or where to get it...

Thats a diffuser (or so I call them and have seen them called before). I have seen them for sale on both cvrmotorsports.com and rallysportdirect.com.

EDIT...Or do you mean the part on the corner there Brandon? If so I have seen them sold at both sites also. Sorry for the confusion.

Some call them a "spat", theres CF ones on cvrmotorsports.com (been thinking about getting them). I think fastwrx.com has them also, and I also believe you used to be able to get something like that from subaru, in the SPT book.

Either a spat or an apron. I don't think it's Subaru, at least the ones I've seen. It's more aggressive than the JDM ones for either the 04 or 05 since it flares out.

Probably down the road on my next WRX. I want to dress it up a bit to compensate for my smaller engine

Agreed Jon, I just found a set on Ebay that are smaller and less aggressive looking JDM ones.

I think they look good, almost like the car should have come with them honestly. Been kicking the idea around myself of getting ones for the rear, sideskirts, and a front lip. Just not sure yet.

Keep in mind for future reference in case you find it useful, but IIRC, 04 JDM rear aprons will only fit on 04s. 05 JDM rear aprons (bulges out rather than in) will fit on both 04 and 05s. I would verify that information before going with it tho.

If you want, you can install mudflaps with the spats... I've seen that done too.

Lol^ I think you're on a mudflap kick lately.

Thanks though, I might do that. I liked the look of them on my old WRX, and I like the lack of rock chips that result.
