I think it's purely for looks and not suitable for daily driving. Very unlikely it has all of the same safety features built into it like the stock roof. You'll need roll bars if you're going to convince me...

Not for me !Notfunny!

Wouldn't that requiring cutting off the stock roof? And wouldn't that within itself reduce the structural soundess of the car?

I'd have to see it to decide for sure. As for carbon hoods, well, I like them....

Well, it could be an overlay kind of thing. Carbon over top of the stock roof.

That would be acceptable in my eyes, AS long as it were made to look good.

Yeah. It does seem kind of pointless though, unless you are building a show car.

Cosmo, You are right. It is an overlay. You remove the glass and put the carbon fiber down. As far as structural intregity. I have been trained in structures and would never sacrifice safety. My shop builds show car, everyday drivers, and race cars. I just got a 02 WRX for myself and started to buid it. I will send pics soon. I have a roll cage in it. And I have started the widebody. My wheels are 19"x9.5" You can ask any body or paint ?s you have. I will try to anwser them. Thank for your input.

Alright, well that clears up a lot of questions and doubts I had. I wish you the best of luck. I'm sure it'll all look great.

Purely to impress the people who don't know much about cars, but would work if you are going for the show car look IMO.
