Exarch is more helpful than not
I think he just wants to raise the back a bit, dosen't look like it's saggin' from the pictures...

To the OP:

I'd leave the wheel gap be, or solve through lowering. Higher center of gravity can have some wierd handling consequences.

I've used that wax before and it's good stuff. This weekend I used Turtle Wax ICE. It really brought the shine back to the window trim and mirrors. It also doesn't leave behind white residue. I'll take some more pictures soon with a real camera. For now, here's a shot off my phone with my new rims.

You'll like the STI mounts. I have the engine and trans. The pitch mount is in the garage and will be installed soon now that the weather is nice. The idle gets pretty rough, especially with the A/C on. But it's worth it.

Here's a few more shots after my wax job.

Step 1: Mother's Cleaner (Orbital Buffer, Microfiber Pad)
Step 2: Mother's Sealer/Polish (Orbital Buffer, Microfiber Pad)
Step 3: Turtle Wax Ice (Hand applied)

Just put on the rims. Sorry, the stickers are still on.

In case anyone's interested they are Drag 17x7 (40 backspacing) w/ 225/45/17 Goodyears. Yes, I know they are imitation 5zigen's. They were less than half the price and they only weigh 1 pound more. They also have a lifetime structual warranty. Something I'm sure I'll put to the test here in Chicago.

Just got the wife the 09 Outback last month too.

Thanks, next up are some cross-drilled rotors and new pads. They looked pretty slim when I was changing the wheels.

Thanks. I absolutely love the SSR's. They would be on my car if my budget was a little larger. I took the cheaper route so I could save up for a DP to go Stage 2. These rims and tires were only $799 delivered!

I used a pressure washer on my truck and had no problems. But my friends cars wouldent start or threw a code. and u could paint some plastic pieces and polish your intake.
