I have a blue 2002 WRX and I have oxidation on the roof and chips in the front from bug guts staying on the paint. How much would it be if I took it in to get it wraped and what would look good being wrapped? The whole car? Or just the top? And would the little chips in the front mess with it at all?

Im into flat black for a cheap nice looking fix, but I think you would be the happiest with some fresh matching paint. Stickers always just look like stickers, but its your car, up to you. maybe 500 for some good new paint across the top.

Well Ive seen some full car wraps in flat black, and they looked pretty good. How much would that be to take it to a shop and have that done?

I do agree with ya brfatal, When an entire car is done it looks sick, but no matter how a flat black is archived on sections it always gives the assumption of $2 walmart spray bomb. Personally I like the look, but im a ragidy ass who tends not to G.A.S. what people think. The 3M material alone even to do it yourself is gonna cost you around $350-$450, paint it the right way(so to speak) by a body shop should be around $500 or so, and 3 hours of your time and a good black primer in a spray bomb will run ya around $10-$20, but will need a redo every year or two. Its your call man, you do what works best with your personal taste and budget, and keep in mind, people dont know about wraps and will assume you only spent the $20 on spraybomb.

If your going to do it your self you can probably get the material for <$1000 but more than likely it will turn out like SH!T and if your willing to pay to have a pro do it you should just paint your car anyway it will look 1 million times better and last longer

yeah, the $350-$450 was just to cover your roof, hood and trunk. I have seen 60x60 sheets on NASIOC go for around 100 bux

Dang. Im more of a DIY type person, I have painted a car before, matte black, but man, that took a longgg time. So thats why I was thinking about wraps, it really doesnt look that hard. But prices about material. Basco said it would be under 1k and Blaze said a sheet would go around $100...How many sheets would I need if I were to do this? And I would need a heat gun right?

hood roof and trunk would be approx 300 off someone maybe on nasioc or a simular site ,aka used. and to do it right would take a looong time as well, and yes you would need a heat gun and will ###### screw it up the first time around. in the video, the guys are pros at it and you can see how bad they struggle doing it.
