Those damn vibrations....

I just bought 2 infinity 12's in a sealed box from my bro. The install went ok thanks to this great weather we've been having up in beantown. !Thumbs Up

Now, as with all cars, bass makes your trunk rattle like a friggen merocca. I know people use dynamat and similar products but my question to you all is if youve been able to pinpoint any areas that are causing this rattling.

Thanks

One place that rattles really bad is going to be your license plate/frame. Just make sure that you have all 4 holes in the license plate fastened to the car, this will help with the vibration there.

It seems like the noise is coming from the trunk lid or inside the trunk roof ( the part that is inside the car liek where the seatbelts attch to...the padded area behind seats) Theres some linkage there where the trunks springs are and stuff maybe there causing the noise...:(

That's always a posibility too.

My rear deck rattled alot, I just stuffed some foam in there. My rearview also rattles and has fallen off, I have yet to fix that.

The padding on the back seat above the seat belt, some dynomat and cotton/any absorbant works. Good luck took me FOREVER to find the vibrations in the mustang.!Thumbs Up
