Are these housings right for HIDs?

So I have HIDs, but I'm not sure if my housings are correct. I snapped a few photos of them this morning.

Are these correct or do I need to swap back to regular bulbs?

You know what? Call the dealer with YOUR VIN and an STi VIN (similar Yr) and see if they x-ref each other..... In other words.... Since all STi's (IIRC) come with HID... the #'s would match yours. I use this method quite often and it rarely doesn't work.

From what I've read in the past, if the car didn't come with HID... then the housings are not correct.... But I could be wrong.

I'll give that a shot Paul. it's just a base model wrx so I know it didn't come factory with hids. And the ballasts are a total hack job install. I got it used from the dealer so I assumed it was ok, but with everyone on here telling me I'm blinding other drivers if they are not right I want to make sure I'm not "that guy".

If its a hack job, then its hard to say. But, all signs point to probably not the right projectors in the car. Its not the housings that are the problem. Hack job means one of two things...bad retro fit or some one just did a drop in HID swap.

Take a look at the difference in HID drop ins on a 3rd Gen vs a proper retrofit.
