Tax return = Gauges and Exhaust

Ok so I would like to know what everyone thinks of these Guages

Prosport
STRI DSDs
STRI X-lines
Autometer
PLX Devices DM-100, DM-200, Dm-200 OBD2
PLX Devices Single Gauges
Defi's

All except Defi's and PLX Devices single Gauges I found at FastWRX.com
along with the Autometer Triple-Gauge Dash Mount
Im also working with a budget about $800 that I want to split for Gauges and Exhaust
any advice would help alot I've got a week or more to get all the info about this before buying

As far as exhaust goes, a CBE or TBE? Do you have any type of EM (engine management)?

..... you are stuck w/gauges and CBE then..... Unless you buy a DP and cat back and just put the CB on..... hardly a gain if any.... Spend the cash on EM and DP.... IMHO

I vote for DEFI's

+2^ Thanks for the help guys but I think Im gonna go with Prosport Gauges everything else is pretty $$ and a Borla CBE and I think I'm gonna Follow what Man Show Said in another Tread to me

"1. Whatever aftermarket cat back you like the look and sound of
2. AccessPORT V2 (flash to a Stage 1 map when you get it)
3. Whatever aftermarket bellmouth downpipe you choose based on quality and price (flash to a Stage 2 map when the downpipe is installed) and since you have an 05, it would be a really good idea to get an aftermarket up pipe at the same time as your downpipe because (1) you're tearing everything apart anyway and it'll be more convenient to do the up pipe install now rather than wait until later and have to tear everything apart again, and (2) your stock up pipe has a catalytic converter in it and over time (especially as you increase power), the material inside it could break apart and get sucked into your turbo, causing catastrophic failure.
That's your safest bet if you don't have the cash to buy everything all at once."

Thanks for the help man show +2

Thanks for all the info Guys!

No prob, glad I could help. If you're anything like me, you'll probably enjoy the Prosport gauges because (1) they're relatively inexpensive (2) they get the job done and (3) the green/white color combo matches the stock green gauge cluster in the WRX pretty well. I tend to notice details like that and I think if/when I purchase gauges, I'll most likely end up with Prosports too - unless something drastically changes between now and that time, of course
