Stock Stereo Question

Does the stock stereo have aux in-put or out-put?

Probably going to need more information than that, but if it's the 05/06 WRX the answer is No. For now at least, it has plug for *something* on the back, which as far as I can tell is a Cbus port.

none of the wrx factory head units have an in you can use. no open RCA's if thats what your wondering.

go get an alpine deck and the iPod ai box if that is indeed your scenario.

Best buy has a kenwood unit that you can also get the iPod interface for. I also want out-put for a sub.

12 - 14 songs on a cd - vs. - 500 songs on my iPod [and only have the 2 gig nano]

Umm, there are two inputs in the trunk if you don't have the 6-disc changer back there on the 03s. Just pull the trunk lining away from the passenger side and there should be a red & a white audio input jacks as well as a power connection for the cd changer.

no F'n way. straight rca's to the trunk? that’s crazy talk.


If you want a sub channel, you should just get a deck with 3 sets of pre outs, one for front speakers, one for rears and one for subs. The difference in price is negligible.
