Stock stereo

I bought my car used and ive had it since April and my stock 6 disc cd changer stereo ate my cd's. I'm most likely going to buy a new stereo ( possibly new system) but i just want to know has this happened to anyone else or is it just my luck.

thanks.

Did you try resetting the stocker?

OR

It may just need to be grounded

That was exactly how it worked for me. Once I got them out, I never put one back in.
Try the reset though for shits and giggles.

Should just be a button (size of the end of a pen somewhere on the deck).

I'm sure it happens all the time. Though, when I was a service adviser at a dealership with had some HILARIOUS stereo issues come up.

LOL

When the car was pulling up you could hear it from inside the building. It was on max volume.
