STI Gold rims - Where can I get them?

I am looking for some gold rims, and I'm wondering where I could get the STI gold rims? I love the looks of the gold on black.
Are the STI rims the best route to go? I have only found them on Subaruwrxparts.com for 2800 and I think that's pretty high.

Also, are there any sites where I can get the painted sideskirts, the side strakes, and the front splitters all painted? I want to fix up the look of my car's exterior. thanks.

thanks :) I was thinking about going that route, I"ll check it out tonight to see what's on there. I just have trust issues with Ebay. Especially with larger purchases

or forum classifieds... I got my silver STi rims on ebay. All went well for me. You just have to make sure you cover all angles if you're paranoid like me :D

You can get ALOT better wheels and tires for that price. Look at the SSR competetion gold wheels, and any tire of your choice, Falken Azenis for competition or Bridgestone SO-3s for everyday high performance or even Nitto NT555

thanks, I think that I will look into some other brands.... I am just lazy, and I knew that I liked the STI gold rims.

I've gotten to the point here lately that I seriously wish I could trade my WRX in on a new STI. I wish someone out there could tell me that I was dumb !Cry! I just know I would lose a lot of money , i only have 6800 miles on my WRX too.

^^ I feel your pain

Me too... If my mom knew that I was tearing crap apart and replacing stuff as much as I have, she said she would have gotten an STi if she would have known. Of course, I was like, "but you wouldn't let me. I told you I was going to mod it." You know what her response was? She was like I didn't think you were serious... !Cry!

Well, I guess I have something to look forward to buy when I graduate college. This car was a present to replace my 95 Outback, and survive the highway abuse I'm giving to the car now since I've started my co-op internship down here this semester. 5 months and 10400 miles! :(

Anyways, I paid 995 shipped for my used STi rims, silver painted just as a reference. Some minor scratches here and there, but happens to most rims that get used.

will do ... you're the 3rd person from this forum on the list.

Except 05 STi wheels wont fit on any of your cars ;)

lol excellent point. New bolt pattern, correct? It's hard to find rims for the 05. I like a lot of what SSR has to offer. Just have to be paitent until that update their inventory.

al5dsm 10-17-2004 03:02 AM

yup new bolt pattern
