Stealth Kill Switch

So one day late at night I was hanging out on my front porch and saw a job drive by.
I kept hearing his breaks squeak and constantly slowing down.
As I watch closer I realized his rear lights never came on ones, even on a dead stop on an up hill slant.

So does anyone know how to make this kill switch?
If so could you give me a step by step for a 06 wrx sedan?

Maybe the vehicle had a burnt out stop light fuse! hahaha

This really doesn't sound like a safe idea though. If people following behind the vehicle don't see the lights an accident is bound to happen.

It's a kill switch to here everything works in the rear till u flip that switch and then all the lights in the rear don't work until that switch is flicked back on

What excatly would be the point on this? Volkswagons have recalls for there brake lights and there reverse switch. Still not sure why you would want a kill switch for your rear lights. I could see one for your rally lights if you have them but why the brake lights, reverse lights, and parking lights and tag lights

I agree with hawk_eye, can't really see a point to it. That being said, shouldn't be too hard to find the controlling fuse and wire up a switch to it to kill all the power to the lights.

I don't know if it works for the reverse lights but should be able to turn off the break lights, and all running lights that come on when the headlights come on. And the reason is for to make it to where people can't follow me late at night. I have seen videos of how to kill just the break lights so they don't go one and off when needed but haven't found anything for the running lights that come on when's turn the headlights on.

Depending on what your doing, some painters tape overlaid with duct tape should black out the lights without leaving much residue on the lights themselves

Not trying to be a douch but the reason no one has answered is because there is absolutely no point in this. What you might want to do I'd look for a wiring diagram for the parking light switch. That'll control the parking lights and the tag lights as for the brake lights you'll need another wiring diagram for the stop lamp switch. Hope this helps. Possibly will need 2 switches

This helps a lot!
And lets say the only way a certain red and blue lights flashing behind me can find me is by my tail lights.
once i can kill my tail lights on demand, means no more pink slips filling up my car.

...then you're going to need a switch to delete/hide the reflective elements in the tail lights, and something to jam/disable communication devices as well.

I'm anxious to get in on the group buy when you have all this ready to go!

Honestly, I like the idea of having manual switches for different light groups. But please keep safety in mind as well.
