Spec Roof Vent

Hey just wondering if anybody has done this mod? I would like to add one to my 06 STI just wondering how the install is, or how much did it cost to get done. Thanks

I installed sunroofs for Auto Trim design for like 10 years, and that would be a super simple install, and like mentioned above is shouldn't cost more that 100. i didn'tknow anyone made a real vent, with a nice inner trim ring. def post pictures when you get it done!

it depends on what kind of sunroof, there are not many options for a wrx. A pop-up sunroof would be in the 3-400 range, an eletric top slider, (the glass slides open on top of the roof) would be in th 800-900, and a full eletric where the glass slides under the roof skin and also vents would be like 1300-1400.

in order to put in the electric ones it requires removal of the b-pillar crossbrace. i would never remove it though because it is like 2 inches thick, and i'm sure would compromise the rigidity of the car.

They were never offered from the factory on bugeyes.

I'm surprised so many didn't know of the roof bracing in the WRX. My understanding was there are many ribs going across. Is this not correct? Maybe that was the Wagon only?
