Sparco Seat question

I am very serious about putting a sparco tornio in my wrx, thing is I don't know the unistall/install about seats. i can do mechanics no problem, so i imagine this won't be too difficult. what i need is a place to get brackets and and all that mounting stuff. basically i have the seat i just need to attach it to the car and i need to know how. so if anyone has this knowlege and would graciously allow me to borrow some of it i would greatly appreciate it.

Four bolts hold the stock seat down, thats about all I know, lol. Comes out in about 5 mins. As for the installation it depends on what the seat comes with.

I don't know but I'd be careful since there are airbags in those front seats. Better get a manual and do it right!

Anybody know how much lighter the Sparco Torinos are compared to stock seats?

You can see the wires for the airbags underneath the seats.

Unhook the wires to the airbags with the battery cable disconected, just a precaution, then you will need a seat bracket, you can get one of these from www.wrxtuner.com this is not the site that we are on now!
And the seat saves you about 20lbs.

Is that 20lbs per seat?

No, only about 10lbs per seat, due to the air bag and the height adjuster on the stock seat. Unfortunately the sparcos that you have are a heavier model about 32lbs a piece, some of their strictly race seats are very light though.
