Nagy, I like em black. With those hella fogs...It'd make it look stealthy. Nice work either way.

Btw, are you running 6k hids or are those lexus lens just that darn clear. That's brighter than my hids. Of course i'm running the stock 4300K, which is still pretty darn bright over the wrx filament bulbs.

nagy i think you should throw some chrome turning bulbs in there i think they would make it look a little bit better, but just my opinion. In the black they almost remind me of the jdm projectors. very clean. i think the white made them stand out more but the black looks better.. very sweet though i'm jealous!

As always great work.. I have not been on in a while and I am glad that I didn't miss this.. Looks good black, I really like the idea, but I can't lay glass like you can.. Great work...

Any cost estimates on these??

Sorry, I meant in parts and what not.. I know you got the bulbs at work, is your lights at work, is your boss willing to sell sets to us?? stuff like that, I know you mentioned it was a ton of work, I didn't think you would start selling kits..

oh hell yeah i can sell you projectors and bulbs, most of the lights don't have ballasts anymore so if you have aftermarket ballasts i can definitely get the projectors.

Humm.. Do you know what the output on the ballast are?? I can source some ballast from my old lighting company but would need to know what to order.. I am sure some of the suppliers also produce automotive ones..

Just found this thread while searching for inspiration on bugeye upgrades. Kudos dude, your design is sweet!! Black was a good final choice, though white might be a great accent on a dark body color. We're still waiting for you to manufacture these! Think about selling the concept to a specialist or aftermarket supplier!

I just gotta say, these things are phenomenal and going with the black was a good choice! I am a fan of all things custom and these things are just totally rad. Keep up the good work, I am curious to see what comes next!
