My friend was telling me about how there are some inserts or something you can get to place in your hood scoop which help direct the air down through the intercooler. He said something about how the air gets trapped in the back of the hood scoop somewhat, and these keep it from doing so. Anybody know what he was talking about and where I can find some?
By IN the hood scoop I mean right in the opening of it. Kinda hard to explain I guess.
yeah it just channels the air. the upper air that enters the hoodscoop goes to the back of the intercooler, and the lower air that enters the hoodscoop goes to the front of the intercoolers to make sure that all of the intercooler is being used, versus all the air going into an unchanneled hoodscoop only hitting the back of the IC.
