I was wondering how much lighter the doors, hood, and fenders where that you guys and gals have. If you know exact weight numbers that would be great. Thanks
I dont know exact difference, but the stock hood and trunk really arent worth swapping out as far as weight savings go. Just for the looks more or less. But I dont know about weight of the stock doors compared to the CF ones.

You will save about 120lbs if you don't use the glass and power units.
But, consider how much structural integrity you lose with a cf door over the oem door. The oem door have a high-strength steel intrusion beam (which works well) the cf door (although i haven't seen one in person) most likely wont stand up to a side impact & would mess you up if you ever got t-boned. I would only run them on a trailer queen or a race car with full cage.
I have the seibon cf hood and matching sti hood scoop on my 2002 and honestly doesn't feel that light. If you like the look go for it otherwise not worth.
thanks for the input. I do like the look, but care more about weight savings and weight reduction. I thought carbon fiber parts where not only lighter but stronger than oem and other materials. O, maybe true carbon fiber is not the body parts the companies offer, they only offer cf layed over fiberglass. Is that correct? Thanks
i am not sure but i think most carbon fiber doors are actually just the door skin the interior of the door stays the same its just re-skinned with carbon fiber at least on something driven on the street anyway
