Retro Fit website....
I'm really hopeing this doesn't come off as a conflict on our vendors. But, I saw this link in modified magazine and I think a lot of people could benefit from it. Especially 3rd gens, seeing as that's how I saw the article on it in modified magazine. They did a HID retrofit in a 3rd WRX. Give it a look, if you want to do a HID retrofit. That way you can have clear light and not glare. lol.

Had a couple guys/gals use them to retrofit hid's in their WRX's and they looked super nice.

Awesome Chris. I'm just figuring people would like a idea of where to find the stuff to retrofit. Yeah, the link I posted. Those lights looked clearer than my stock HID lenses. I was kinda jealous, but i realize they're probably using a high end camera and that's part of it to. lol

Do you know of any websites that have the kits for bugeyes?

turmic 04-26-2011 08:30 PM

Did you try and contact the link I put up? Ask them if they have a set-up for bugeyes.

Also, LightWerkz will pretty much do a retrofit for any car. Provided you have the money and a spare set of head lights to ship them. Lightwerkz is the link that chris put up.

I have a spare set but I don't want to pay someone to do it...I seen a custom build on one of the links. I may call them and see which kit they would prefer because they do not have any specific kits for bugeyes. Ive been wanting to do this for a while now just haven't built up the nerve.

Yeah, see what they say and what they recommend. Once you get it done. Please let us take a look at the retrofitted bugeye light. Only one other member on the forum has retrofitted bugeye. But, he gets on here randomly. nagyhead or mike. You'd have to search his posts to see his set-up.
