Removing rear bumper cover?

I just purchased a 05 wrx wagon and it has that little black bumper cover on the back. Has anyone taken it off? I asked the dealer to do it for me, but they siad they would not do it in fear of the paint being messesd up. They dont know how its attached either.. I dont want to try to take it off to end up putting it back on. But its slowly growing on me though....

Most of those type of pads 95% of them are held on by some sort of clips, so there will be holes under that pad

My turbo's fixed and a lot better =)

not sure if that true though cause my 05 wagon didn't come with one and i want to put one on and subaru instructions say they are stick-on installation. So if you are going to attempt it i would let it sit in the sun on a hot day for a couple of hours and then use a blow drier to even make it slightly warmer and try to peel it off. Might be a good idea to ask a body shop in your area who have done work on the wagons before too.
