Removing Front Seats

Hey guys, sorry I tried searching for a little and couldn't find anything. I just bought some sti seats and im trying to remove my wrx seats. Should I disconnect the battery before removing the airbag plug, or should I be alright. I've heard people say its a one in a million chance but I rather be safe than havew a airbag blow my face off . BTW, if I have gotten my car tuned, will disconnecting the battery reset the Ecu? Thanks a lot!

Yes, you should disconnect your bettery before removing your seats just to be safe. The air bag probably wont deploy if not though. Yes, disconnecting your bettery will reset your ecu, if disconnected for long enough.
