Personally, I like the badges. Without them, it makes it look too empty, like somethings missing.. obviously I guess. But I'm proud to be driving around a Subaru. Even prouder to be sporting around a WRX. With all these Hondas and Mitsubusis out there, I want my silver 'Subaru' emblems to glare at them as I drive by. My car is part of the elite minority, how about yours?

...And damnit, if give you a wave when we cross paths, that doesn't mean I know you so don't give me a weird look. It's just the community thing where I reconize that you and I drive a WRX since we make up so little of the cars out there... pssh, freaks

I have always thought of taking the subaru off and leaving everything else. Then take the word turbo off of a porche and put it in the place of the subaru. I dunno i think it would look good.

It does look cool. I know a guy who has that done to his WRB WRX. I could get a pic of it tomrrow if you want.

And about debadging, the more I think about it, it does look pretty good just to remove Subaru. But you need the WRX badge on the side opposite the keyhole just to balance out the looks of the trunk. But that is just my two pennies.

a good way to remove them is with a blow dryer... my friend did it to his scion xb. they pretty much peel right off.

Gregory-

I took the "SUBARU" off and left WRX Impreza. Impreza WRX is all that was important to be seen IMO. Used a hair dryer and dental floss and it comes off easy. Once off, used bug and tar remover to get rid of leftover tape/glue and then some wax to shine it up. Quick, Easy mod that looks good and costs next to nothing.

i took mine off right when i got home when i bought my wagon. it was even starting to snow when i did it too. the only thing that i haven't debadged has been my Range Rover and that's because it's part of the metal (or should i say aluminum)

Ive had my black 04 for over a year now and am thinking about taking off the subaru but am worried that over a year of use and being in the sun the fade in will be bad and it will make it look worse with lighter subaru letters. Has anyone taken off theirs after a year of use, and is the fade in bad.

oh and on that turbo on the back my friend did it to is dsm
