rear wing question

i just put on my STi wing on my car and i love it. now i know that the 06-07 sti's have the wing on top of the windshield. i heard that help move the air under the spoiler and adds a little to it. should this be something i should look into now that i got the wing or should i not worry about it? any help would be great!!

I really doubt you will be driving the car fast enough to need that, but I do think it looks good. But not much for the parkbench.

They are pricey.

In point of fact, the rear window spoiler actually generates down force(not sure at what speed this begins). The rear window spoiler generates enough down force that several of the manufacturers that competed against Subaru in the WRC petitioned that it be removed for the 07 season because it gave the Impreza an aerodynamic advantage.

For a DD it's more about looks than performance. If you like it, get it ! It is functional, as it directs the air evenly across the wing.
