those custom bugeyes are pretty sick looking!

Not a fan of those type of spoilers, but it looks very good on the car.

anyways I drove (still have)

lifted 1988 Chevy K1500 white 5.7L V8, roll bar, lights, the works...

I love off roaded and driving fast!

My HS Rides

1985 Toyota Tercel Deluxe 2-door hatchback! 1.5L inline 4 with a 2 barrel carb rated for 62hp and a 3-speed auto. Ford Festivas used to eat me for lunch from a light.

That car got wrecked and I got a 1979 Toyota Celica GT. 2.2L inline 4 3-speed auto this thing was a brute rated at something like 80hp and RWD beauty. It was rusty as hell but a big imporvement over the Tercel.

Ah the memories of my HS days.

Okay so for my first car I had a 1994 Toyota 4runner. Leather, subs, the works. I blew the motor in it and was forced to sell, thats when the WRX comes in. My project, 1980 yota pickup, bobbed bed, 33"s, and a motor swap on the way.

2007 Satin White STi, 1989 Nissan Sil-Coupe, 1998 Toyota 4runner (to be built..)...

'95 green Subaru Impreza Outback. That thing was a POS and a Beast all in one. I treated that thing so badly and did so much stupid stuff in it, but no matter what, it always came thru and never broke down or died on me. However, random things would stop working. Rear wiper died once, window washer fluid for the back just decided to redirect all fluid to the ceiling and drip into the trunk, I think a parking light fell off randomly at one point... I could go on and on.

Anyways, she was traded in for this baby 18 months ago.

ugh. im not a big fan of that wrx

lets see, first car i had while i was in HS was my 97 Nissan Altima. that 2.4L was fairly peppy for an automatic.
then we have my pride and joy, my 73 FireBird Trans Am. 455 big block, the shaker scoop, 4 speed muncie. this was by far my favorite car, (yes, better then the rex) but THE MOST impractical daily driver i have ever had the pleasure of owning. first day i owned it i went through two tanks of gas at the Alameda Naval Air Base (abandon, they shoot lots of movies there. like the highway chase scene in the matrix flick. thats all alameda naval air base and 580)
i had that untill i left HS, and had a POS 91 Honda civic. dual point vacuum operated fuel injection... silly....
and now i have my rex.

Freshman year was a '79 Super beatle with low pro tires and a fresh rebuild on the engine painted a awesome Walmart special grey primer.

Upgraded my Sophmore year to a 1980 Ranger F100 that would barely do 65 mph.

From there I upgrade during my junior year to a White 95 ranger supercab that lasted me more than a year.

The best part about it though is that I paid for all of my vehicles, never once did my parents have to make a payment for me.

My first ride was an '87 Toyota Supra Naturally Aspirated beater. Drove it for 5 years. After the 2nd year it had so many over heating problems that the stove/oven got jealous. Seriously.

Replaced head gaskets, replaced thermostat, water pump, whole radiator, radiator fan blade, all hoses, flush and cleaned system out... still dies from over heat problem. We just could never figure out the problem. Nor could any "Master Techs" at two different Toyota repair shops.

It's sitting in my parents back yard right now rotting away. Though it gave me a ton of problems, I still love it. It was my first love.

If I ever save up enough money, I'll drop in a new engine. That should cure all worries of overheating problems.
