My brother likes to give me things for my Subie for X-mas. This year he tried to give me a dead pedal. He said he looked all over the internet and couldn't find one. Mach V Motorsports(fastwrx.com)had it posted like they had it for sale and took his order but after they gave him the runaround for 2 weeks. He called them to find out what the deal was and they told him they didn't have any, don't know if they make them anymore, and won't be getting them any time soon. He also said they were rude to him on the phone! Of course he canceled his order.
That looks like the one Man Show (John) got. I know that they are out there. Maybe he will chime in and let you know if thats the same one. Good luck man.
I have one too, but no "factory plugs" or whatever that refers to. John said he just glued it to the carpet. There's something under there they expect you to attach it to that has a grey-looking screw or something but I talked to the dealer about it and it was like I was speaking greek. So much work. Mine's still sitting in my center armrest compartment where it has been for 3 years now.

There are two dark gray plastic pop rivets that just pull straight out if you pry them gently with a screwdriver or something similar. You would actually reuse them when you install the aftermarket dead pedal shown in the IAG link. It's really pretty easy
The one I have is different than the one in your IAG link (I think it matches the stock pedals better). I did just glue mine directly to the carpet using Shoe Goo after I removed the stock plastic dead pedal. I bought mine back in early 2007 from KastlesKorner.com, and it looks like it's still being sold here: Subaru Dead Pedal Scoobymods.com
Man Show, my carpet looks like the one in the MIDDLE picture there. It has no dead pedal. And for the life of me I could not get a hold of the two plastic pieces that attach the dead pedal to the floorboard. Stupid dealerships...
When I get back to my house from Christmas vacation. I will see if I can find the part number or the website where I got those pieces. I ordered some for when I installed my front lip. Might be able to help you out some.
Aw man, I would have shipped you mine, but I left them in the holes (as shown in pic #3) to keep the carpet from slipping down and now they're sandwiched in Shoe Goo. Good luck on your part hunt!
Ok, I just ordered it. Let's see if this is for real or b.s. Or if I'm better than my brother at looking for things on the internet. Or if Mach V Motorsports(fastwrx.com) sux and IAG Performance rules.
