need some opinions from other wrx owners

My uncle is in town for a few months were he's from he is a auto body guy he is doing his bussiness here for a while I want him to paint my sti all the small dings from the last owner and scratches I think it will add value to my sti it has going on 94k miles do you think it's even worth it for that many miles I know that is still very low miles but I also know a lot of wrx owners are at 55k or so for a 06 like mine so what do you guys think a nice flawless finish will it add some value? Also it's been bugging me since I bought the car the side skirts have like a lump on both sides same spot you can only see it from a cretin view is that normal?

Are you planning on selling it?

It might be something to consider since you may not have to pay full price. "Value" is quite subjective so it's hard to say.

Show us a picture of your side skirts so we can see exactly what you're referring to.

Clean Paint applied by a professional body shop is always a good idea, In my book. As far as increasing the value of a vehicle for sale you wont see the ROI. If hes family and he is going to do a nice job for cheap then I say let him do it but dont go choosing a NON-Subaru color. That will put you into a very niche market when you try to sell it. Clean Paint and a clean interior usually adds about $500 to the perceived value of a car.

Not worth it if your selling it but worth it to feel good rolling around in a freshly painted ride : )

Well I don't plan to sell it for a long time and when I do its going to be a private sell not a dealer I can't stand them sometimes and I'm going to keep the same white nothing different

Then I say do it. Get the dents hammered out and get it all cleaned up : )

I'd rather buy a clean straight car than one all banged up. And I'm even a body guy.
You should probably have him shoot it in pearl white though, as that's way sexier than regular aspen white.

@blaze
I was thinking the same thing a nice pearl white is so clean I might look into it too but really wanted to keep the aspen cause it will be much easier and faster process
