MPG display - 09 WRX

I checked the manual and followed what it said of putting the key in the ignition on "Lock" mode, then press the "+" near the clock for 5 seconds to enable the MPG display. The display flashes, but nothing happens, do all WRX's come with this, or is it only for the STI and/or the premium package?

They should all have it. I know mine does. Besure you put your odometer onto trip though because it won't read it for all the miles. Just trip A and B.

Oh, I never tried that, I had it on the odometer setting. Thanks!

EDIT: Works, thanks!

Whoa! this it the first time my 08 does something the 09 won't! The 08s display the mileage for trip A on trip A and the regular odometer. Not that this is all that cool of a find.

If you read my post above, I already figured that out.

It's not that accurate, seems to be around 2-3MPG off. On the high side of course, my display usually says around 26-28MPG, but I tend to get around 24-26MPG.
