If you like the style you have, which to me arent that bad looking at all, you could just paint the ones you have. What style/size do you like or looking at?
can you add a " ] " to the end of that? either that or I cannot see another pictures posted. But as far as black rims go, i like a lot of the rota wheel choices out there. I am currently using 5zigen FNO1r-C wheels on mine with 235/45/r17 Falken Azenis tires and love them, my only complaint is that the way the spokes go back towards the hub before touching the lip, so it makes them appear smaller than they are, but they are well served as race rims.
How bout some Volk TE37's????? they are only 740 bucks per rim w/o tires
Im running Rota Boost on mine. In gun metal, 17 x 8 cant beat the price and I do like the look. TE's are awesome, but like mentioned retarded expensive.
chickenwingo, I'm usually a big fan of gold wheels on a black WRX/STi, but the wheels in that pic look like they belong on a Mustang. I vote switch em up !Thumbs Up
Thanks for your help guys those volk rims are so sexyy but so freaking expensive, I'm only 17 so im looking for some in the 500-1000$ range which I know isn't that much. What do you guys think about the agency power strideseven rims? Only $200 a peice.
hey guys so I decided I would paint my old stock rims and see how they look on the car while I save up to get some new ones. I havn't gotten them on the car yet but I think I'll get it done tomorrow.
Here they are
I used duplicolor wheel paint and they turned out way better than expected, I know they have black, white, silver, bronze, and like a gunmetal but im not sure if they have a gold paint, although im sure you can find it somewhere
I used Rustoleum when I did my rims... It would have turned out better if i actually took my time. The rustoleum has a bronze/gold that looks just like the STi BBS wheels
I've got a grey 07 sedan...
I recently bought Volante's, only to find they won't clear my calipers on the front wheels. grrr.
So, take two i guess..
Considering Tenzo's. Anyone have any experience with them?
try to stick with near-stock offset. That will help your handling as well as your fitment. The stock offset is +55. I suspect that the rims you are looking at were not designed for a Subaru or other high offset car. In other words, I'd recommend you care more about the specs than the looks/logos.
hey guys sorry it took me so long to post a picture, I didn't like the look of the stock rims so i decided to go ahead and paint the gold ones, lemme know what you guys think
Thanks! I tried to get some better pictures, the rims a little dirty. I definitely like them a lot better than the golds, I wanted to get a red lip but that would have been difficult on these rims.
+1 looks good ! I was thinking of painting my stock ones black. Do you have any pics of the old stock ones on the car before you decided you didnt like them.
no sorry :/ I only had them on for a day, they didn't look bad at all I just decided I liked the 5 spoke look a little better. I think this is a picture of shoefan's car with the stocks painted a flat black
