Well, the flaw to the pin striping is that is has to be reflective. I doubt autozone sells reflective red pin stripping.

I'm not sure if they do either. But I am certain I saw it at some chain auto store. So if you want the look, look around and you will be sure to find it

Cool

Tint the windows and slap on a set of red Rally Armor mud flaps, perhaps?

^ That would probably look better if the tails were mostly or all redded out instead of blacked out

Anyway, feast your eyes on my professional MS Paint rendering:

Not trying to be a buzz kill. But, it has to be reflective to the side of the vehicle on the rear end and red. So, the rally armor mud flaps wouldn't work. Nice MS Paint skills....I'd photoshop it, but I am lazy.

I know the details of what needs to be with the lights because my best friend is a police officer.

So I had a free day today from the kids and got around to trying to spray my lights and to my surprise they came out hella nice! Check em out.

I only put 1 nice coat on so it didn't get too dark. I used the Krylon light tint.

I know, They have to see reflective red right? I might mask off the top half and get some paint remover and remove the bottom half where the brake lights are or at least make it a little lighter, I wasnt gonna do them but I didnt like the top part of the light ### they are so dam bright.

If I get time to do it Ill repost results.

rollnsf is an unknown
I'd love to see what this looks like with the lights lit.

If you get rear ended, do you guys know if insurance would cover it since you've done an illegal modification to your brake lights?

They are bright and lit up at night, just like normal....at least on my car.
And I have been busted twice for speeding since I did them, once during the day, and once at night.
Not one thing said about the tails, just speeding tickets......and no I dont usually get pulled over for speeding, Its actually been quite some time before this that I was, but a heavy foot has to be busted once in a while I guess..lol

Removed the tint from the brake lights and left the top tinted.

BTW if you want to remove spray tint from your lights in a single wipe........ Carb Cleaner!
