Interest in carbon fiber parts?

A good friend of mine owns a carbon fiber (Real carbon fiber) business (G3 Composites LLC). He & I have been friends for over 10 years.

We're both enthusiasts as well, of course. All supplies are sourced from the USA & all work is done in the USA (He is based in FL)

I am posting to gauge interest on what folks may want.

I'd be happy to become a vendor if there was enough interest.

I just sent him several pieces from my Corvette that I should have soon. Can't wait to get them back. :)

Here is a link to some of the work he has done:

Thanks,
Tom

Some interior pieces would be cool.

Get a pricing list as well. E.i - Like a hood would cost $xxx. Etc. Also what are we limited to?

Maybe a CF hood scoop, I'd like interior parts as well

You know I got to wondering what we could have made that would help get some weight of the car. I know CF hoods and other things like that are normal to help a car on a diet but that has to be other stuff that can swaped out for a CF version to shave off.a little weight here and there.

You guys got any ideas?

^ A CF hood does not help with weight loss on your car. A trunk would.

The wrx I bought has a carbon fiber hood and it is significantly lighter then any hood I have worked with. I don't even use the hood bar to hold it up.

It's really only limited to how much time & money does the person have? ;)

I know that the 06-07 WRX hood is aluminum, and its incredibly light. I think its lighter than my wifes 05, but cant say for certain.

Another satisfied customer below & his 4th gen Trans Am. He will be posting more photos once the rest of the items are done as he sent in even more parts after he got the first batch back!

Carbon fiber overlayed fiberglass hoods weigh about the same as your stock aluminum hood. Most cars use heavier steel.

My carbon hood is about 2 pounds heavier than my stocker(and there are threads on this;). plus my stock hood wont crack and my clear wont peel.
any other part on our cars would be great in carbon, just not the hood.
