Thumbs down Installed factory fogs on 08 STi - they don't light up

My 08 STI didn't come with fogs from the factory, so I bought the Subie kit and installed it today, including replacing the relay that was already in the car (which looked perfectly good). They don't light up, whether parking lights only, headlights, or highbeams. Any suggestions? I've had too many electrical issues today to troubleshoot it

take it to the dealership and see if they can tell what the problem is...its a subie part on a car that is still under warranty...they should be able to help you out with no charge

^ Yeah, try that. Be sure to keep us posted when you figure out what's wrong.

with subaru, everything is connected to the headlight function unit, meaning you hafta to turn your headlights to be able to power the fog lights. If you turn you headlight, does your fog light turn on?? I just recently played around with my fog light and now i can turn on my fogs without turning on my headlight on. by a switch and 2 wires....

Some idiot read the directions too quickly and put the relay in the wrong spot. I reread the directions and put the relay in the right spot - all set now.

Mods, feel free to lock/delete.
