Help with defi control unit wire connector

Ok so here is my problem i bought the car used and it came with the defi control unit 2 and gauges. One gauge (water temp) does not work the reason for this being the cable broke off from the connector as you can see on the picture highlighted with red (and the connector was lost). Since it broke off i cant attach it to the back of the defi control unit. I tried looking for this connector from defi but they sell the whole cable and i dont wanna spend $40 for the whole cable when all i need is the connector. Does anyone know where to find these connectors by themselves I know how to solder and i can easy solder it to the connector but i cant find the connector anywhere please anyone have any ideas?

thanks

You might be able to find it on digikey or something if you're very diligent and very determined. Only way you'll find that is by luck, someone that happens to be really good at identifying connectors sees this, or directly told from defi.

It looks like it's just two wires. Power and ground? An easier and cheaper solution is to just cut off both ends and put on a universal connector. Just be sure you don't get the wires mixed up.
