Hey guys what brand are most of you going with for Yellow Fog light. for the 2107 it's an H16 (19watts) bulb. I had PUTCO in my Titan that worked great but the wattage is wrong for this car. Don't want to burn any wires or worse.

Im typically a fan of GE bulbs but for yellow you really only have 2-3 choices. Most of the yellow lamps you see will be cheap Chinese bulbs. I think PIAA makes a yellow tinted H16 and I would assume Nokya would have them for about half the price. Keep in mind that brighter light is less effective at cutting through poor weather and can cause excessive glare so brighter isnt always better.

Thanks arc. I've always used yellow as my fog for looks only. Putco makes a nice yellow but not in H16 for our cars. PIAA it is I guess, if only I could justify their $90/Pr price tag lol. I've used Nokya in the past as well. Didn't like it so I may just have to suck it up and cough up the $$$$$$$$.

After extensive research when I put my fog lights in I went with Phillips Xtreme vision bulbs and yellow tint on the fog lenses. I researched this on a forum dedicated to only lighting and the consensus said you will get better light output by using a non colored bulb and just tinting the lenses. The extreme vision bulb was highly recommend. They really seem to be against any bulbs with a color applied to the actual bulb. Forum was candlepower dot com iirc.

Another method is just buy yellow headlight tint film on eBay which is thick and can be shrunk to most curved surface. Also will protect the fog lamp since they sit so low. I learned this the hard way...should've done it when I first got the car. You can shrink it even with a hair dryer around the edges. I didn't bother with yellow bulbs for the fog since it's more cosmetic than anything.

PIAA Plasma Ion Yellow H16 That is all...<a href="http://s135.photobucket.com/user/fidrat/media/JDM%20headlights/IMG_1099_zpsfe566982.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q128/fidrat/JDM%20headlights/IMG_1099_zpsfe566982.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo IMG_1099_zpsfe566982.jpg"/></a>

I have the H3s. The glass is not tinted. The gas inside them is yellow producing unfiltered yellow light. I looked at the H16s and they look like the glass is tinted although the description is the same as the H3s. My H3s are 3 years old and do the job better than I've ever seen. Something about the light spectrum that it puts out really makes the lines in the highway pop! If just a bit of yellow line is peeking out from under the snow these lights will find it!
