Keeps stones from hitting your IC. I believe you have to drill holes in the scoop to attach it. I'm not aware of many people having them.

yeah you do have to drill wholes in the scoop, helped a buddy do his, but if you ever remove the grill, you can't see the wholes anyways.

It will keep snow out which is water. Snow melts becoming water and going in the scoop anyways. And snow will still pile up in front of the scoop. I've never had snow pile up in the scoop.
It's more for stones which would actually do damage to the IC.

Are you asking? Its hard to tell cause your grammar is terrible. And Im seriously not trying to be a penis about it.

Yes, other than the stated above about deflecting debris, its purely cosmetic. Personally, I don't like the look and if I were to do something about debris, I would put a screen on top of the ic or inside/under the splitter.

I have 2 grillcraft grilles. They look awesome on my 2011. I would highly recommend them for protecting your intercooler as well. You can kind of see them on my profile pic (scoop and lower bumper-grill).

Not really. Either way you're just going to build up snow that will block the scoop. That's the real problem because it will cause heatsoak due to lack of airflow.

It's not like water hurts anything anyways.

Grillcraft grills sacrifice performance for looks.

The upper grill isn't necessarily a big deal since most of the air that feeds your radiator enters your car through the lower bumper opening. Car companies mount the air conditioning cores in front of the radiators because most of the debris enters your car through the lower bumper opening and the A/C core is less important to your car's health than the radiator. A Grillcraft lower grill would be ok because the flat, front-facing design of the A/C core and radiator would still get a sufficient amount of air. A few extra degrees of heat in your coolant won't affect your car's performance nearly as much as a few extra degrees of heat in your TMIC would.

Skip the hood scoop grill.
