Remember they don't test your tint, they test your window. That includes both your tint and the window's natural tint. No window is 100%. You put 30% on, your window's probably 20%.

allvolwrx is more helpful than not
I got 5% all the way. Had to sign a disclaimer saying I know it's illegal. A little too dark when backing up at night. Other than that I love it. Had it 2 1/2 years and only got one verbal warning once when I was rearended by a f-250.

No, the place I went to actually puts on a specific percent tint to make it 30%. Like they said to make a window 35% they would put on 43% tint because of the factory tint. So I don't have exactly 30%, but it should be close.

Thumbs up Car tint

Your car is looking good mfarnham! I also got my 2009 wrx tinted last week, 35% front and back and 20% on the door windows and I'm really impressed with the results. I asked help from http://www.TintBuyer.com. They provided free relevant information for tint buyers such as its benefits, prices, laws involved in my state and most importantly they help me locate the best window tinters near my area. I hope this one helps, thanks

EDIT: No, looks like PA passed a 70% all around law:
Pennsylvania Window Tint Law - TintCenter.com

You can't buy 70% tint. I'd wager most factory "clear" windows are about 70%.
Wow, thats freaking dumb. I haven't check it in years. Yeah, the blizzaks are a must right now. Welcome back to PA . Where we don't plow as good as Minns.
