Got my windows tinted

Just wanted to show you guys my new window tint. Got it done at a Ziebart near me for $200. The legal limit in MA is 35%, but I went with 30%; it looks a lot better. Shhh...

BEFORE

AFTER

What do you mean de-shining service?

Haha, that's so funny cause that's exactly what it felt like. I hated that fishbowl feeling. It feels so different, and better, now with the tint.

They are 18" Prodrive PFF7 wheels. Don't think they make them in gold anymore; just grey.

I just got a verbal warning on my tint. 50% all around. Legal limit is apparently 70% in the front. He measured it at 40% the jerkwad. They were dirty though. 70% is like clear ffs.

70% limit, ? I do not want to live where you do. LOL The sun is freaking torture here in the summer, I am 35 front and 25 everywhere else which is legal max here. We get pretty high UV here and I never knew how huge a difference a good UV blocking tint was for interior temps until I tinted my old VW about 8 years ago. Since then I don't have a car a month before hitting my tint shop. Makes the AC feel about twice as effective. I should get a tax credit. LOL

For Minnesota, I'm assuming. Last time I checked, PA was 35% front and 25% rear.

mfarn, the car look SWEET!! Love that look.
In Minnesota you can have 70%. I had 30% on my 04 and was pulled over once. He told me that is was illegal that was that. Alot of cars up here tend to have 30-50% without much a problem. From what I have heard you may get a tint ticket if you are pulled over for something else. i.e. speedig

I KNEW it was legal. The ####ing asshole wasn't pulling me over for tint, he was just trying to check if my car was stolen and being an ass about it. This was in PA, no more Minnesota for me. Had to make sure I was back for this winter's blizzard of course

EDIT: No, looks like PA passed a 70% all around law:
http://www.tintcenter.com/laws/PA/

You can't buy 70% tint. I'd wager most factory "clear" windows are about 70%.

Thanks for the compliments guys. I'm not too worried about getting pulled over. It's only 5% different from legal, and all the cars where I live either don't have tint or are pitch black.
