gold rims..help

im lookn at getting some gold rims soon but im having trouble at finding ones i like

i found these AXIS Reverb Gold Gloss Wheel Rim at WheelsNext.com
but im thinking they are way to gold, but then i also hate that darkish brass color that claims its gold. whatever...

so can any of you guys recommend a good gold 5 spoke gold rim. lookn for them in the 17" range

thanks

I see what you mean, way to gold. Would you mind if each spoke spread out into 2?

Check this out, Rota makes great wheels for a great price. The are a little heavier, if weight is a biggie.

Then look into some Volk rims, TE or CE series, great looking, great on weigh, just not on the pocket. Might want to chime in on what your budget is.

$1000 or so

ahh i need some legit gold rims

CE28N, check them out by Volk, pretty nice but not in the budget. I like their color scheme though.

I don't see the point in being so picky about it. My Gold BBS rims don't stay gold for long with road dirt/brake dust. They bronze over fairly fast. I'd have to clean them about every 2-3 days to keep them from doing that. But, to each their own....

newtothegame 11-30-2008 06:21 AM

Nice point Turmic. Thats why I love my gun metal ones. They are hard to tell whent they are dirty ;).lol.

You can get gold BBS 04 STi rims for $700-$1000 used on nasioc pretty easy. They'll fit. 17x7.5" 16 lbs of forged goodness. The stock tire on em was 225/45/17... probably as wide as you want anyway so 7.5" width shouldn't be a problem.

Enkei RPF1! They come in gold if you wish, and they are the lightest reasonably priced wheel arould.
