fog light covers

Just wondering if anybody has had luck with these. I got a smashed fog light on the passenger side a couple weeks ago from a stone most likely and with the cost of the fog light figure it could not hurt to put covers over them to prevent another assualt. never tailgate and go out of my way to stay clear of large sand trucks up here but they seem to find me. Just noticed the foglight last week and then this past weekend i was driving and somebody coming the other way threw a stone into the top of my windshield on a paved road. Bad luck lately i guess.

The covers defiantly will protect you from future damage to your soon to be, new fogs. I love mine, more for the look tho, not so much the protection side of them.

However, they will not protect your windshield.....!Laugh!

remember. bad luck usually comes in three's .. so look out, ya got one more comin.

I agree about the covers, but damn you've got some terrible luck.

It's a shame you don't live in Florida though if you carry full coverage the insurance company by law has to replace a damaged windshield free of charge provided you have full coverage with out penalty to your rates.

Thanks guys. Yeah I wish I was in Florida> I am so sick of all the friggin snow here and I work in it everyday. The rex has been home this week because the frost is coming out of ground on dirt road i am doing job on and it looks like a mudbog. No ground clearance so I take the truck. Thanks for reminding me about the three thing Blaze that should heighten my paranoia about my car. Thanks for all the input.

I will hold off on the third one for now. I will put on some covers right after I get new foglight.

Garage
I replaced my factory fog lights with hella's a few months ago...I was driving around with the covers on them for a while then decided to take the covers off so they were functional...about a week after that I hit a small animal...now I only have one hella...

I was looking for covers too.
the only ones I could find are the ones on E-Bay and the STI ones but the STI's are too rich for my blood.
I haven't seen any covers for a 2010 though? Only the colored overlays

among other places Subura offers them. they are around $35.00 a set and pretty simple to install
