Used Aircraft Stripper, a crapload of sanding (320, 420, 800 grit), 2 coats Graphite Wheel Paint from DupliColor, and 2 coats of Wheel Coating from Duplicolor (clearcoat). I love them. That's all I have to say.
Yup, spray can. Took a while to get the technique down. Took me about 3-4 evenings. The biggest time consuming thing is the wetsand. Since some old paint was left over that the Aircraft Stripper didn't get. And it's the key to a smooth finish.
Thanks for all the replies everyone. I'm quite happy how they turned out. I have to parallel park my car for the next week and a half at my sis's place so I'm just trying not to curb them...
Looks Great! My car has white painted rims that the previous owner did. I think Gold would be much better on my ride. I am trying to save a few bucks for Rota's
Yeah Im definately going to be painting my stock rims now that Ive seen how good it looks.
