DRL Help

I would really like to change the daytime running lights in my 2011 wrx to white leds. But I read this will make the high beams not work anymore. Any ideas of how I can get the look of the pure white and bright led's but not get rid of the high beams? Thanks

The DRLs are actually the high beams running at low voltage. That's why they look more yellow and why you can't get rid of them. One option is to install halo lights and disable the DRLs, or for a cheap solution, turn on your high beams for a nice white look.
