DRL delete

Does anyone know how to bypass/override the daytime running lights so that the headlights only work when I purposefully turn them on?

Be sure to secure the connector when you unplug it. I meant to go and get a ziptie from my place on campus and forgot about it for about a week. I comeback to find that the connector melted on my DP. Oh well, never liked DRLs anyways.

Thanks a lot! Everone, that link is will work for a 2004 WRX. When facing the car while under the hood, the metal "tic tac" looking connector is at the back left corner. It will be upright. the red connector at the bottom is what you unplug and unbolt the metal "tic-tac" thing. be careful as the connector is locked in on the sides and must be dis-enaged.....just like any other plastic connector.

Thanks a lot everyone!

Just make sure to put some electrical tape over the end to protect it from moisture and what not. Also, do like stated above and affix it to something so it just doesn't hang there this will keep it from being damaged.

My car is well, it's like 10 lbs of shit in a 5 lb bag...

Yup did mine last week, very simple to do. I almost felt like I could do it without removing the glove, but it was a bit too narrow to reach the plug.
