Don't buy cheap eBay bulbs!!

I know, I made a stupid mistake and now I have to pay for it. I bought these bulbs thinking that they would give me a slight whitish look instead of the factory yellow. After having them installed for 10 minutes when I came to a stop light I could smell something burning (smelled like something electrical), so I turn off the lights and then a few minutes later when I arrive at my destination I open the hood to see that the entire low-beam headlight assembly had melted along with the bulb casing. Luckily this was only on the passenger side, the drivers side bulb was stuck but I was able to free it eventually and force the factory bulb back in.

I E-Mailed the eBay seller but I doubt that will go anywhere, so now I get to buy a new passenger side headlight assembly on my 2 week old car!! Lowest price I found was $338, have you seen anything cheaper?

It's the socket where the bulb is secured into the headlight that is melted, so I can't get the factory bulb to fit back in securely. The wiring harness is fine, thank god!
