Thumbs up Custom shift knob.

Since I want a decent metal shit knob and I am cheap, I have a buddy of mine that works at a machine shop that is gonna make me one. Material he has laying around he believes to be brass. I think it will turn out kinda cool. Pics for reference.

Ill keep posted how it turns out.

Gonna be shaped somewhat like this

Edit-Why are the pics showing up as links instead of images?

Small update. Change of plans, gonna go with a solid brass round knob (Which is what I originally wanted)

All he has to do is drill out the old threads and make a new insert or re-tap.

Here she is before cleaning up/ machining.

Its done ! I think it turned out fantastic. Thing weighs a ton and he ran it over some emery cloth on the lathe. Gave it a nice mat finish with a little texture.
