Carbon fiber fitment?

Quick question I searched and I don't see any threads on the issue but does anyone know what the fitment is like on the carbon fiber parts on the 2004's or certain companies? I worked at a body shop for 6 years and whenever I did body kits and stuff we always had to cut and adjust the kits, hood, or doors and whatever else. That and if anyone has any pictures of a 2004 sti with the carbon fiber hood, trunk, bumpers, and doors. Would be greatly appreciated.

I've got a VIS hood and trunk, and the trunk is great. The hood is off a little. There is a larger gap on the passenger side that I don't care for. But it's nothing that would be noticable to anyone else really.

As long as you get the carbon fiber from a reputable company the fitment will be better than from a lesser known company. I used Carbon Creations ________________.::: CARBON CREATIONS :::.________________ for a carbon front clip on my lancer, and the fitment was nearly perfect. I would imagine that for the Subaru it is the same.

I would go with Seibon I got both hood and fenders from them. I put the hood on myself but took it to the shop for the fenders and my buddy said he was really suprised at how will they fit, I was very pleased myself.

I've got an el cheapo CF hood from E-bay on my bug-eye. I had to enlarge the holes on my hinges and latch to get the gaps even, but with that little bit of work it fits perfect. Chase, you might give that a shot. It took me an hour and a half or so, but well worth it to get the gaps right

CF hoods are made on molds taken from stock ones. It's the under side stuff that is either a little off or missing from the cheap Chinese ones. Getting them to fit is always going to be possible, as long as there's no warping.

Oh, thanks man. I actually only had CF on my old blaze yellow bugeye. I kind of hate the stuff now from the experience, it fades and cracks so quick and easy. For the price, I'd never buy any again. But it looks great brand new
