Bumper “Modification”

So my front wheel well covers are missing some clips. I purchased some retainer clips but apparently Subaru uses two types and sizes of them >_< I’ve done some research and found that the difference in hole size is only 3mm. Will it cause any issues with the bumper to enlarge the holes? Also, what would be the best way to enlarge them? I’m trying to avoid buying more clips.

I'm sure you could make it work... But is it worth the risk of the paint peeling or messing it up over a couple $2 clips?

I was looking it over again this morning, and I realized your right. Its better to pay the $14 to get 10 of them then risk damaging the bumper. I could probably do it, but I dont want to ruin a perfectly good bumper. Especially because if I break it, I would want to put a wide body kit on it, like the Varis Extremor.
